why i cried this morning…

el Fellowship is the name of the weekly gathering/Bible study we launched at church last month. this is the first regular ministry to women., and it has so amazing to work with key women at the church to develop this!

we have started by studying different women of the Bible. so far, we’ve looked at hannah, abigail, mary and rahab. i have truly LOVED leading and developing curriculum. what’s even more exciting is another incredible women at the church…and fast friend…is helping to develop curriculum and teach too!

we are blessed to offer two sessions: an evening and a morning session for the women. the evening sessions are still really small, but the morning sessions are growing. it is so neat to watch!

i lead the evening sessions, and today, i attended the morning session. i was literally tearing up as i listened to the women participating in a discussion about how God uses unlikely people (Rahab) to accomplish amazing things….and how His power had melted the hearts of a pagan city for years…and how our past does not define our future! i just sat thinking how blessed i am to be a part of what God is doing here….and i was overwhelmed. SO unworthy!

i am excited to finish out our series of “women” with a saturday gathering of all women from the church on june 25—i am SO looking forward to this!

then…it’s on to a book discussion/study of francis chan’s book,Β crazy love...or titled in spanish, “loco amor”. it’s nice to have spanish materials readily available! πŸ™‚

please keep el Fellowship in your prayers—God is working and moving through this. if nothing else—in MY life! πŸ™‚
