FINAL PILAT day–aka saying goodbye and a little “gardening”

today was our final day for PILAT training, and i am ending this program feeling educated, encouraged and empowered. i have no doubt that the methods and techniques i learned here, along with a complete shift in my paradigm of language “learning”, have given me some of the best tools I can have for approaching language acquisition. spanish…bring it on!

here are some last minute goodbye pics:

Mel and I LOVED having our tervis tumblers! (jen, ash and missy—that’s just for you!)

Dwight and Barbara Gradin are definitely the HEART and SOUL of this program. i was to BE her when i grow up!!! they are absolutely amazing.

There is a small group of us staying over for the next program, SPLICE. Of the 13, only 6 are actually on MTI campus this weekend. So, we went to Garden of the Gods to do a little hiking.

We had a blast!!!
